We are located in Sauble Beach Ontario Canada, on Sauble Falls Road. This is in the North End of Sauble near the beach, river and Sauble Falls.
Sauble Falls Road was the First and only Road named by
our very first Members of Council many years ago. The
Jesuits Priests called Canada the “New World” They
canoed the waterways to travel and discovered this area.
The first settlers located their camps near the Falls,
where they built their homes and a school. These
buildings still stand to this day. These settlers worked
cutting and logging timber and hauled the wood with
their horse teams to the Saw Mill located at Sauble
Falls. The Falls were also used for a period during the
earlier years as a Power Electric Generator Station, the
remains of which can also be seen today.
Our Cottage Tourist Accommodation is one of the oldest
establishments in Sauble Beach. Our business “A
Beautiful Cottage” was previously known as “Don’s and
Jean’s Cabins” during the late 1940 through 1980. During
the past years, these Cabins were replaced with Modern,
Quality cottages with updated features and today we are
proud to present you with our cottages which have
obtained a 3 Star Accommodation Rating. We currently
have 1 to 4 bedroom cottages that are located on 7 acres
of wooded property. Our location is a great place for
you and your family to relax and enjoy nature.
A Beautiful Cottage is located near the Blue Waters and
Shores of Lake Huron which has 11 Km. (7 miles) of White
Sandy Beaches.
We at Sauble Beach are proud to have the First Beach on
the Great Lakes that has a “Blue Flag” Destination. Lake
Huron is One of the Two Best Sun Sets in the World.
These Sunsets make beautiful pictures for your photo
album. Enjoy a stroll along the Beach, Swim, Relax or
Sunbath or you can take a leisure walk to the Falls.
Sauble Beach is located in the Bruce Peninsula. The
Bruce Peninsula was formed during the Ice Age. The area
is a well known for Tourism and by Naturalist for many
years. The Peninsula and area have many Trilliums. The
Trillium is Ontario’s Provincial Flower, and includes
